Being a member of the Simsbury Newcomers’ Club entitles you to:

• A copy of the Monthly Newsletter by e-mail or snail mail,
• One copy of the directory,
• Full access to a wide variety of activities,
• Child Care for certain daytime Activites and Program Meetings for a small fee.

Dues are $24 for the 2009/2010 membership year. Membership is from September 1st to August 31st of each year. Checks should be made payable to “Simsbury Newcomers Club” and the Membership Form should be sent to Sherry Hill at 12 Olde Orchard Rd, West Granby, CT 06090.

Encourage your new friends and neighbors to join Newcomers – you don’t have to be “new” to join! Existing residents who just like to meet the new folks in town are welcome! We have a diversified group of activities – join one or several!

Please complete the Membership Form in order to provide information for the Newcomers’ directory. The directory is for the exclusive use of Newcomers’ Club Members and will NOT be available on our website. To be included in the 2009-2010 directory, dues must be paid by October 15th. For renewing members, let us know if there are any changes to the form that you originally filled out – new address, phone number, email address, new baby? The new directory will be mailed at the end of October and extra copies will be available for purchase at the coffees. All members joining after October 15th will receive a directory but will not be included in it. A new quick list including all members will be issued periodically and will be available by request.

Please note: If you are on the Board, or the Chair of one of our Special Activities, your name and telephone number WILL appear on our website unless you indicate otherwise by checking the “exclude” boxes on the membership form. Also, because the website has current activities posted on it, your name, address and telephone number may appear on the activity page if you host an activity. If you do NOT want that information to be posted on the website, in addition to checking the exclude boxes on the membership form, please let the Activity Chair know when you agree to host the activity.

Please help us get your newsletter to you sooner and definitely more efficiently by choosing YES on the membership form to receive your newsletter by email! Look for your newsletter by email or on the web by the 20th of the month or by “snail mail” by the end of the month.
